“My child if sinners entice you, turn your back on them!”

People are more often enticed into evil rather than being forced into it. Through different mediums and schemes, there are those who allure you into thinking and doing what is wrong. There is a false promise of pleasure and gain that draws one’s flesh into the path of wrongdoing. But the final result is always guilt, pain, and sorrow.

A person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own sinful desires. These desires when nourished gives birth to sinful actions that eventually lead to dead works. So, when sinners either real or virtual, entice you to wrongdoing, it is not rude to turn your back on them. Do not give a second thought or wait to listen to their arguments that appeal to your desires. Flee from evil, lock the door behind, close the window screen in front, uninstall the app, unfriend a friend, do whatever it takes to stay away from the enticements to sin.
